Bella got her 1st haircut before Cassy's wedding. She loved having her hair done, she's such a girly girl. Heather just trimmed the ends and voila, Bella looked fabulous ;) I am looking forward to many more haircut and nails salon visits together. I don't want her to get any bigger, right now she and I go everywhere together. I know soon enough it won't be "cool" for her to hang out with me, so I'm trying to get as much mommy daughter time in as I can ;)

Easter 2012
We spent this Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Hoover's house. We had a ton of yummy food and had an Easter egg hunt. The kids had a great time and so did Eric and I. The kiddos got several Easter baskets, they're spoiled! Nani bought them their cute outfits.

San Diego days 3-4
On Wednesday, Papa had the day off and we made it our beach day. We had breakfast at a fabulous Mexican restaurant then headed to the La Jolla beach. Bella felt right at home on the beach, just like her mama. Julian liked the sand and watching the water. He did not enjoy the sand on his toes. We made sand castles, and built big holes to climb in. The weather was perfect! We then went down to the cove to watch the seals. It was the season of seal births so the cove was partially blocked off so that people wouldnt bother the pups. The best part was seeing the babies up close and watching them nurse. So sweet! That night, we met our family for BBQ. It was the best BBQ I've ever heard. Julian and Eric were in heaven! We went back to papa's so that Eric and I could take a nice walk on the beach at night. Another wonderful day in Diego!
On Thursday, we made our way to Imperial Beach to Cas and Gabe's place. They live right on the beach , it is beautiful. We went for a family walk and then I made dinner for Sandy s birthday. We had dinner and drinks and cake. The cake says "Samby" because that's how Julian says "Sandy". We ended the night by playing some Wii dance and family feud. It was so fun! We ended our vacation on a perfect note. We had such a wonderful vacation and the kids had a blast. It was the best family time us Hoover's spent. It was nice to get away just the 4 of us, can't wait to go back in June!

San Diego vacation days 1& 2
This year for spring break, we decided we all needed a relaxing and fun trip. So to San Diego we went! We arrived Monday (after a bout of car sickness from Julian). We had tonstop several times to let Julian get fresh air. As we got closer to the mountains, we fell upon a TON of snow . We thought it would be so fun to stop and play, and that's what we did. When finally arriving in San Diego, We checked in to our awesome La Jolla hotel. It was really close to my dad and walking distance to the beach. Monday night, we met with my dad and Sandy, and Cas and Gabe for dinner in La Jolla. After dinner, we walked the beach and let the kids swing on the swings that faced the ocean. Wow was it beautiful! We then finished the evening at Papa and Sand'y's for dessert. A great 1st day!
On our 2nd day, we visited the San Diego zoo. It was such a beautiful day out! We saw elephants up close and personal, monkeys, rhinos, polar bears, giraffes, etc. my favorite was the gorillas. We stayed inside the exhibit and watch the gorillas interact with each other. At one point, a mother gorilla was holding and rocking her baby gorilla. It was the sweetest thing I have ever seen. We rode the sky line so that we could see the park overhead. The zoo is very big and requires a lot of walking and hiking so the sky ride was well worth it. The zoo was so much fun I cannot wait to go back! That night for dinner, we met Papa for sushi and beer. The sushi in La Jolla is fabulous! We then went back to Papa and Sandy's house for drinks and dessert. We sat by the fireplace and enjoyed some family time. Another great day!
