Mommy and daddy celebrate 10 years of marriage

Eric and I celebrated 10 years of marriage with a beautiful beach vow renewal and wanted to take a honeymoon since we didn't after our first wedding. We decided on Puerto Rico. What a great decision it was. San Juan is full of culture, fun people, beautiful beaches, and great drinks. Eric and I spent 5 nights in a beach front resort and casino. It was a blast. It sprinkled/ rained for lots of our trip, but it was still beautiful. We spent time in the swim up bar, beach, and even swam in the warm ocean water. One day, we went in to town and visited old San Juan. The food was soooooo good and Eric LOVED the rum. The churches and the scenery were breathtaking. We went to the Castillo castle, which was absolutely amazing. We even spent my birthday in Puerto Rico. It was so nice to be able to sleep in a little, have dinner with no interruptions, and just enjoy each other's company. I feel so lucky to be married to the best man around for 10 years and counting. What a blessed life we've had together. I can't wait to come back to Puerto Rico and maybe even bring the kids :)

My bubba turns 3

I am in utter shock that my baby boy is now 3 years old! Since we already had his birthday party, we had a quiet party for him at home. We started the morning with cinnamon rolls with candle to blow out. He opened up his presents, which included his own hummer car ;) he also got a new big boy bed set. Jammie, Greg, and Guiliana came over for dinner and cake. It was a great birthday for him! I love my baby boy more than I could ever explain in words. He has made our home so full of spunk and love. He is so sweet to all who know him and he is so very smart. This year he has learned to name all the letter of the alphabet all on his own, can spell his name, speaks in paragraphs, eats all food (except veggies), has given up his daily naps, continues to sleep 13 hours or more at night, and much more. His favorite thing to do is play with his sister. They're best friends! I'm so very proud to be his "mama".

Joint birthday party

The kiddos happened to want a joint birthday party this year, being that their birthdays are only 3 weeks apart. Bella wanted a Minnie Mouse theme and Julian wanted a Mickey Mouse theme, so it worked out perfectly! We decided on a small kiddo water park. It was so great. The kids were able to swim, go down slides, and go on the lazy river. We had a great time and the kiddos got so many gifts! We had a turnout of about 45 kids and adults. We had sub sandwiches, fruit, chips and cake. I loved being able to celebrate 2 parties at once. Maybe we can do it again!
