Ms. Bella's 1st Birthday party

For Bella's one year birthday party, we decided on a pool party as it is a very warm time of year in Arizona. The party was at my mom's house, and Eric put in over 25 hours of landscaping/cleaning time~ phewww we are tired! Nina Cas even came to celebrate the big day. Anyway, the party turned out fabulous. We had sub sandwiches, potato salad, pasta salad, fruit salad, chips, etc, and of course cake! I can not believe how great Bella was the entire day (especially since she did not get to nap). She did not cry once, and really just enjoyed being outside and walking around. All of her friends were there, and everyone seemed to have a really good time. We are very pleased at how smoothly the party ran. It was warm outside, but amazingly not overwhelming since we were in the pool much of the time. It turned out to be a great time for our best friends to hang out in the pool, have some beer and just enjoy each others company. The "men" of the group had a huge water balloon fight and ran around like children. All in all, it was a really good time. Im super impressed on how well it all went (im always a little nervous with big events). Thank you to all who made Bella's 1st Birthday! She may not remember, but Eric and I do, and we will make sure to share all the awesome pictures w/her when she is older so she knows how much she is loved! Thanks to Cas and Tommy & Becky for making the long drive just to be there. We love you all! Here are some pictures from the big day..
